Established nearly forty years ago in 1967 by ex-Navy man Howard
Froman, Sr., Central Tile and Marble has grown in size and ability. Although he
began his ceramic tile and marble company with a partner, Howard has turned CTM
into a family affair.
At an early age, Howard and his wife Darlys introduced each of their
five children to their father's trade. Like the Froman Family, CTM grew through
the years- from simple baths to thousand foot installations with custom
materials and inlays.
Over these many years three things have remained the same for Howard,
his family and his business - the commitment to quality, attention to detail
and pursuit of excellence.
Our vision is to have satisfied and repeat clients, homeowners and
builder alike. Our expectation is the highest level of preparation, performance
and courtesy. Whether it is Jeffery in sales and installation, Howard Jr. in
large floor installation, sister Beverly as the “grout master”, brothers David
and Daniel, or even grandson Joseph Hale, the entire Froman Family works
together to see a job well done.
We have enjoyed working with the many clients through the years and
wish to work with you in the future.
Central Tile and Marble Company handles any sized job from simple
baths to thousand foot installations with custom materials and inlays. Our
focus on thorough preparation and the use of leading edge tools and methods
helps us to ensure a quality-finished product.

The Importance of Thorough Preparation
We understand that the methods used during installation will vary
according to the materials used.
• Larger tiles call for
cement bed installation.
• Smaller tile need
walls and floors that are plumb and level.
Whatever the project calls for, we believe the steps taken before a
single tile is set helps to ensure a quality finished product. A poor
installation can make the most expensive tile seem "cheap".

Leading Edge Tools and Methods
Proper
tools and industry advances contribute to a high level of craftsmanship. It is
exciting learning new methods, applying new "tricks of the trade" and
using new tools and tile products. Staying on the leading edge of our
profession, as in the case of heated flooring, helps us to assist and advise
our customers to a final vision and expectation of their project.
