Golden Transitions is a service company that helps older adults make the transition from their current home to their next home.
If you have already made the decision to move from your current home into a retirement community, senior apartment building, smaller home or a nursing home, then Golden Transitions can help you by making your move an easy one.
Our consultants are compassionate and caring professionals who will help you make this transition. Golden Transitions is committed to working with you to identify the services that would most benefit you, and then customizing a package of services to meet those needs. We will assist you in connecting with providers of services that we don’t provide directly.

Golden Transition Can Help!
Services We Provide For You:
- Initial planning for the move.
- Arrange for professional moving.
- Space planning for your new home - plan for furniture placement and storage of belongings.
- Sorting / Decision making - we will help you through the process of identifying those items that will be making the move with you, and determining how best to handle those times you will no longer be using.
- Completion of address change notification for all the the services and utilities you are currently using, and those you will be using.
- Packing and organizing items that will be moving to the new home.
The Move:
- We'll be there for you on moving day.
- No need to worry about the movers, we'll give them instructions.
After the Move:
- Follow-up visits to ensure that you are settled and engaging in as many opportunities as you desire, in your new home.

- Make the move as stress free as possible.

When the move is complete, our goal is to have you settled into your new home and surrounded by all the things, from your life, that are most important to you. In addition, we will follow-up with you, at least twice, after the move has occurred to ensure that you are engaging as fully as desired in your new community.
Fee for Service
Fees are based on hours required. Total cost will vary depending on the size of move and the service requested.
